OUR STORY

Highmark’s journey began in 2003, inspired by a bit of friendly competition between our founders, Jim Moras and Terry Gaulrapp. While snowmobiling in the mountains of Wyoming, they challenged each other to see who could leave the highest track—known as a “high mark.” That spirit of pushing boundaries stuck with them, and when they launched their own construction company, the name Highmark was a natural fit. Our original logo featured mountain peaks, symbolizing the drive to set ambitious goals and lift each other—and our clients—to new heights.

As our team and vision grew, so did the Highmark family. We expanded with Highmark Exteriors in 2009, Highmark Restorations in 2012, Ruby+Suede Design Studio in 2020, and most recently, Christian Brothers Cabinets and Highmark Home Services in 2023. With over 20 years of growth under our belt, we look forward to continuing to build connections and trusted relationships for many years to come.
